(1) (a) What total number of cases of (i) murder and (ii) attempted murder reported in (aa) Hanover Park, (bb) Lavender Hill, (cc) Elsies River, (dd) Manenberg and (ee) Bishop Lavis in Cape Town in the (aaa) 2007-08, (bbb) 2008-09, (ccc) 2009-10, (ddd) 2010-11 and (eee) 2011-12 financial years have been referred to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) for prosecution by the SA Police Service (SAPS) and (b) in how many of these cases were bail (i) granted and (ii) denied, in each case; (2) how many of these cases of (a) murder and (b) attempted murder have (i) been finalised by a court of law and (ii) resulted in (aa) a conviction and (bb) acquittal; (3) whether any of the cases that were referred for prosecution were struck off the role; if not, how was this conclusion reached; if so, (a) how many and (b) what was the reason in each case; (4) how many of the cases of (a) murder and (b) attempted murder are still on the court roll; (5) whether any of the cases were identified as being gang related; if not, how was this conclusion reached; if so, how many, in each case?
