(1) Whether, with reference to the Government’s obligation in respect of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the Government has taken steps to implement the ruling by the Supreme Court of Appeal in November 2013 which requires South African prosecutors and police to investigate alleged acts of torture by other countries; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (2) whether the Government is actively advancing the provisions of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
