(1) Whether certain persons (names furnished), who were released on medical parole, are examined on a regular basis by medical specialists in order to establish whether their terminal illness has improved; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (2) how many prisoners (a) in (i) 2010, (ii) 2011, (iii) 2012, (iv) 2013 and (b) during the period 1 January 2014 until the latest specified date for which information is available (aa) applied for medical parole, (bb) how many of these requests were (aaa) granted and (bbb) denied and (cc) what was the reason in each case why the request to be released on medical parole was denied; (3) (a) why was the request of a certain person (name furnished) to be released on medical parole denied, (b) what medical care was he accorded after establishing that he was suffering from a terminal illness and (c) whether his family was allowed to visit him before his passing?
