(1) Whether he has supported and authorised the previous strategic plans for the SA Airways which consisted of the three serving boards in the past five years; if not, why not; if so, (a) what is their relevancy and sustainability, (b) why have there been a different strategy at every turn, (c) how much has been spent on (i) payments for the members of the board and (ii) consultancy fees for developing new strategic plans in the (aa) said period and (bb) 2013-14 financial year and (d) what are the further relevant details; (2) what lessons have his department learnt from (a) employing new board members who are not experienced within the industry and (b) repeatedly hiring new consultants for new strategies; (3) whether his department will put an end to the fruitless exercise that is leading to material losses for the airline in each financial year; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
