Whether the Government intends selling a part of all the State Owned
Enterprises to private companies to assist with its financial short falls;

REPLY
An Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) co-chaired by the Ministers of Public
Enterprises and Finance has been established to review State Owned
Enterprises (SOE). President Jacob Zuma has also initiated an independent
review of the countryâs SOE. As stated by the President, these two
processes are complementary and will culminate in a single synthesized
report for consideration and decision-making by Cabinet. The outcomes of
both processes will determine the way forward and therefore any speculation
in this regard, will be premature.
