(1) Whether the railway line between the Mpumalanga coalfields and Richards Bay is capable of transporting all the coal as required by the coal mining companies; if not, what action (a) has been and (b) will be taken in order to accommodate the coal transportation requirements; (2) whether the railway line is capable of accommodating additional rolling stock; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, why is the additional rolling stock not being made available for the transportation of coal exports; (3) whether his department has considered allowing rolling stock not owned by Transnet to hire the use of the railway line; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (4) whether coal exports are being limited as a result of the inability of the railway line to transport coal; if not, why not; if so, what are the (a) volumes and (b) values of coal exports that are not being exported as a result?
