(1) Whether, with reference to the Public Protector’s report (details furnished), his department with the assistance of the National Treasury, the SA Police Service and any other expert has determined which upgrades were implemented that do not relate to security at the President’s private residence in Nkandla, including the Visitor’s Centre, amphitheatre, cattle kraal, chicken run and the swimming pool; if not, (a) why not, (b) when will such determination be made and (c) who is to be involved in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details in each case; (2) (a) what upgrades were determined that do not relate to security upgrades and (b) what were the total costs of non-security upgrades, including the Visitors’ Centre, amphitheatre, cattle kraal, chicken run and the swimming pool; (3) whether any costs were incurred in the determination of non-security upgrades; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details; (4) whether such costs are likely to be incurred in the future; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what is the estimated expenditure in this regard; (5) whether his department anticipate any further upgrades beyond the current measures at the President’s private residence in Nkandla; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what is the nature of such upgrades?
