committee meetings from the first meeting to the latest meeting held
for contracts regarding upgrades to the Presidentâs Nkandla homestead
since the approval of the project; if not, why not; if so,

Reply:
The Minister of Public Works
1) No. The documents requested deal with sensitive security matters and
are therefore classified.
2) The Honourable Member will agree that by tabling this report it would
be an act of making public information that may compromise the
security of the President. The issue can be discussed, provided that a
mechanism that is consistent with Parliamentary rules is found, which
will not compromise or jeopardise the security of the Head of State at
his private residence.
