Ms A M Dreyer (DA) asked the Minister of Public Works:
(1) With regard to the property at portion 33, farm number 76 Modder B
Road, Modder B in Modderfontein, Ekurhuleni, opposite the Modder B
Prison which used to be a South African National Tuberculosis
Association (SANTA) clinic, what (a) is the present use of this
property and (b) are the names of all the occupants currently residing
on this property;
(2) whether rent is being paid for this property; if not, why not;
(3) do the current occupants have permission to reside in the specified
property; if not, what action will be taken in this regard;
(4) what are the future plans for this property? NW930E

The Minister of Public Works:
(1) (a) Portion 33, farm number 76 Modder B Road, Modderforntein,
Ekurhuleni, is currently used as a correctional facility. It was never
used as a clinic by the South African Tuberculosis Association
(SANTA);
(b) the Department of Correctional Services.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) Yes.
(4) The site will continue to be used for the correctional facility.
