370. Mr D Joseph (DA-WC) to ask the Minister of Rural Development and Land
Reform:
a) (i)(ii) How far back do the (i) national land archives and/or (ii)
official title deeds reflect land ownership prior to 1913
b) how will the planned government land reform programmes incorporate (i)
official documented ownership information and (ii) undocumented
information in the settlement of land disputes?

THE MINISTER OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND LAND REFORM:
(a)(i),(ii) The first archived title deeds are listed below indicating the
year in which the first deeds were registered for the particular
areas of jurisdiction of the under mentioned deeds registries.
