(1) With reference to the 17 farms in Mpumalanga that were placed under the Somhlolo Trust following their purchase by the Government, has the verification process for all beneficiaries on these farms been completed; if not, (a) why not, (b) what are the relevant details of what has been done since 2008 to ensure that the verification process is completed so that these communities may start to benefit from this project and (c) when will this verification process be completed; if so, what are the full names of all persons who have been verified on each of the 17 farms; (2) in view of the interim board of trustees which was established in 2009 and the same interim board still being in charge in 2015, (a) what is being done to establish a permanent board of trustees and (b) why has an interim board been able to stay in place for nearly six years; (3) (a) has the Land Claims Commission confirmed receipt of a letter from the community working and living on Lions Rock Farm and (b) what steps have been taken since the Commission received the specified letter; (4) (a) how many employees on each farm have been given permanent employment contracts by the Somholo Trust, (b) how many persons on each farm have been employed on temporary or short-term contracts since the establishment of the trust, (c) why have these persons not been provided with permanent employment contracts and (d) when will the persons who have been employed on short-term contracts be provided with full employment contracts; (5) (a) what are the relevant details of all machinery and equipment which have been provided to each of the farms since the formation of the Somholo Trust and (b) considering that farm equipment is owned by the Trust, why does the Trust not cover (i) maintenance and (ii) repairs for this equipment?
