(1) Whether, in light of the amendments to the regulations of the Social Assistance Act, Act 13 of 2004, (details furnished), the Head of Department has notified the Director-General (DG) in writing of any children who (a) were not enrolled and/or (b) failed to attend school since the inception of the regulations as stated in the South African Schools Act, Act 84 of 1996; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (2) what are the consequences the Head of Department will face for failing to inform the DG as stated in the latter Act?
