(1) (a) What were the reasons that the Bid Evaluation Committee (BEC) only consisted of four members instead of five members as required in the South African Social Security Agency supply chain management circular No 10 of 2008 and (b) who is responsible for ensuring that the BEC complies with all aspects of the said circular; (2) whether the person responsible for ensuring that the BEC complies with all aspects of the said circular, informed anyone within her department or any entity reporting to her that the BEC did not comply with the said circular; if not, (a) why not and (b) which sections of the legislation compels them to do so; if so, (3) whether she will provide copies of all correspondence in this regard to Mr M Waters indicating (a) the date and (b) to whom the correspondence was written and (c) the response from each recipient; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
