MINISTER F.A. MBALULA
MINISTER OF SPORT AND RECREATION SA:
a) 2008-09: No need for a review as SRSAâs organisational structure (as
approved in December 2006) achieved on the departmentâs mandate and
goals for promoting sport and recreation.
b) 2009-10: No need for a review as SRSAâs organisational structure (as
approved in December 2006) achieved on the departmentâs mandate and
goals for promoting sport and recreation.
c) 2010-11: Yes there was a need for a review and SRSA commenced with the
reviewing of its organisational structure, during July 2010, on the
basis of a diagnostics report to address the possible creation of
additional positions and abolishing of redundant posts on the said
structure to achieve and maintain the mandate and goals of the SRSA
Strategic Plan.
The process therefore unfolded with the creation of job profiles and a job
evaluation exercise to address the shortfall/ increase of positions. SRSA
is currently still in the process of finalising the job evaluation process.
