(1) Whether any current (a) provincial or (b) national directors-general were required to submit themselves to a polygraph test in order to receive secret security clearance since taking office; if not, why not; if so, (i) what are the names of these directors-general, (ii) with which departments are they affiliated; (2) whether any directors-general have refused to submit themselves to such testing; if so, (a) which directors-general and (b) what were the reasons for their refusal; (3) whether any disciplinary action has been taken against directors-general who have refused to submit themselves to such testing; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (4) whether directors-general who have refused to submit themselves to such testing still received security clearance; if so, (a) why did they receive such clearance and (b) what are the further relevant details?
