PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND EVALUATION AS WELL AS ADMINISTRATION:
(Interdepartmental transfer â 14/10)
(1) What are the details of the loan to the National Youth Development
Agency (NYDA) during the 2009-10 financial year indicating (a) the
amount, (b) for which projects, (c) the (i) number and (ii) location
of beneficiaries and (d) the targets achieved;
(2) What are the details of the NYDA capacity building exercise of 300
cooperative members during the 2009-10 financial year in respect of
(a) the total amount paid, (b) which projects, (c) details of
beneficiaries and (d) targets achieved?

(1) The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) did not receive any loan
during the 2009-10 financial year. (a) Not applicable, (b) Not
applicable, (c) (i) Not applicable (ii) Not applicable (d) Not
applicable.

These co-operatives were jointly assisted at a cost of R533, 497, 84, the
amount was paid to the service provider who offered the training.
DMT received a loan for operations which they will repay whilst the other
cooperatives received a service in the form of training.
