992. THE MINISTER OF WATER AND ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS ANSWERS:
The department is coordinating the development and implementation of
Climate Change Adaptation Sector Plans. The Department of health has
submitted a draft sector plan that seeks to address the spread and severity
of vector borne diseases. It would be advisable for the committee to
consult the Department of Health on a detailed account of activities in
this area.
