941. Mrs A Steyn (DA) to ask the Minister of Rural Development and Land
Reform:
1) What is the current turnaround time for documents to be processed by
each deeds office in each province;
2) whether his department prescribes any specific time for a document to be
processed; if not, why not; if so, what is the prescribed turnaround
time;
3) whether any backlogs exist in any deeds office; if so, (a) what is the
reason for the backlogs, (b) what is currently being done to resolve this
situation and (c) when will the backlogs be cleared?
