(1) (a) How many permits for crayfish fishing in the reserve in the vicinity of the Sentinel and Sandy Bay area exist and (b) during what periods of the year are the permit holders allowed to fish; (2) what is the relationship between commercial crayfish fishing in this area and scientific study into the (a) density and (b) movement of the crayfish population; (3) whether the traps damage the surface of the seabed; if not, how was this conclusion reached; if so, what are the relevant details; (4) (a) how can the use of (i) nets and (ii) ropes associated with fishing in the area be justified in this high traffic zone for vessels and (b) why are buoys not illuminated for safety reasons; (5) whether the nets are left unmonitored overnight; if not, how was this conclusion reached; if so, why?
