REPLY:
The DWCPD does not have access to the either the national or provincial
Department of Human Settlements database on subsidized housing
applications.
The Department is currently developing an integrated Monitoring and
Evaluation Framework that will integrate disability-related information
contained within the government-wide monitoring system. It is envisaged
that this database will come into operation towards the beginning of the
2013/14 financial year, pending finalization of the indicator-matrix.
The Honourable Member is therefore requested to direct the question to the
Honourable Minister of Human Settlements.
