Whether the Government (a) consulted with South Africans on the desirability of proceeding with a nuclear build programme and had won clear support for the direction it was proposing to take, (b) quantified the real cost of the nuclear build programme in light of the wild overruns with Medupi and Kusile Power Stations and (c) made the proper financial provisions to go ahead in the knowledge that the funding was secure and guaranteed; if not, why not in each case; if so, what are the relevant details in each case?
