Hon Deputy Chair and hon Minister, I have listened to your responses and I wish to state that if you were serious about the plight of the so-called evictions, you would follow the plan of the DA for land reform which includes such measures as awarding ownership of communal land to those who live on it, handing out of title deeds and encouraging an environment where farm workers will be able to own shares of the farms they work in it. It is very easy. Such policies have been successful in the Western Cape and have empowered South Africans to reach their full potential. You can clap your hands from my left side, I am watching you. [Laughter.]
Minister what I would like to know from you is: Can you give this House the assurance that you will at least look into these suggestions and possible implementation to eradicate these farm evictions?
