(1)Whether, with reference to the reply of the former Minister of Health to question 2989 on 19 November 2018, the co-operation agreement with the Republic of Cuba has been renewed; if so, what are the relevant details; if not,
(2) whether the Government intends to terminate the exchange of doctors between the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Cuba; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what are the relevant details;
(3) what number of (a) students will attend Cuban universities for medical training in each of the next five years, (b) students will be sent from each province, (c) Cuban doctors will be sent to the Republic to assist in the public health sector and (d) Cuban doctors will be dispatched to each province;
(4) what (a) number of South African students on the programme did not complete their medical training since the inception of the programme of exchange, (b) were the reasons in each case and (c) steps were taken to recuperate any funds lost due to the incompletion of their studies?
