(3) There may be other 'privileges' a Parliament can claim so as to protect its status and functioning. For example, in Switzerland the police may not enter the precincts of Parliament. The current Act allows, or allowed, Parliament to bar a court from inquiring or pronouncing upon a matter involving parliamentary privilege. This provision has been found to be unconstitutional in a recent high court decision.
