In the course of 2006, the Transport Portfolio Committee received a very full report on the convention and the present Bill was tabled before us, as a committee, in the course of this first parliamentary session of 2007. Having finalised our consideration and being unanimous as a committee on its desirability, the committee recommends to the House that we pass the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment Bill.
