SAFCOLâs economic impact is currently under review as part of a process to
review Cabinetâs decision in 2007 to restructure Komatiland Forests (KLF)
and wind up SAFCOL. The Department of Public Enterprises is currently
reassessing whether this Cabinet decision is still relevant, and in doing
so will take in account the potential role that SAFCOL can play in the
advancement of rural development.
