Ms D Kohler-Barnard (DA) to ask the Minister of Police:
(1) Whether he has been informed of a certain person(s (name and details
furnished) alleged interference in the investigation at the scene of a
car accident involving a certain person (name furnished), if not, what
is the position in this regard; if so,
(2) whether the allegations will be investigated; if not, why not; if so,
what are the relevant details?

REPLY:
(1) There was no interference at the scene of the accident. He, as the
then MEC of Community Safety and Liaison, arrived at the scene of the
accident and asked specific questions relating to the collision.
(2) The conduct at the scene is not subject to any investigation - as
it did not constitute any interference or obstruction on the scene.
