1195. Mrs A Steyn (DA) to ask the Minister of Rural Development and Land
Reform:
Whether any consultants were appointed by his department to undertake
investigations into the adjustment of title deeds of freehold titles in the
Keiskammahoek area of the Eastern Cape; if not, what is the position in
this regard; if so, (a) who were the consultants, (b) what was their brief,
(c) what remuneration did they receive for their services, (d) what was the
outcome of their appointment and (e) how many title deeds were adjusted?

THE MINISTER OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND LAND REFORM:
No. The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform can only attend to
the adjustment of title deeds once the relevant land claims in the
Keiskammahoek area of the Eastern Cape Province are finalised.
