Chairperson, I cannot seem to spot the Minister's suit, but let me put my question. Although it has been ascertained that nearly 1 500 SAPS members have criminal records, and in certain instances multiple criminal records; that the majority of these criminals have been promoted within the SAPS; and that not a single one of them has been dismissed, what assurance can anybody in this House give us that the extra millions for increases being asked for here today will not go equally to the criminals whom taxpayers pay to work in the SAPS?
