The MINISTER OF WOMEN, CHILDREN AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: Chairperson, hon members, amakhosikazi, abantwana, nabantu abakhubazekileyo asivakasheleyo [the women, children and people with disabilities who are visiting us], as we mark the centenary of the ANC, the oldest liberation movement on the continent, we reaffirm our commitment to work tirelessly for a South Africa that promotes and monitors the realisation of the rights of women, children and people with disabilities. At the core of our struggle for liberation was a determination to ensure that all our people were liberated from a life of indignity, discrimination and oppression.
