Kamagugu was a public Section 21 School. Learner's therefore paid school development fees on top of the subsidy received from the Education Department. Independent audits were made annually with financial statements submitted by the auditors to the Department and also made available to parents. The school consisted of 46 staff members with one typist, two administration clerks, three SOS therapists, two cleaners and three groundsmen. The School Governing Body (SGB) paid for at least six staff members.
