The records of the store were also problematic. The staff were requested to find a 'rape kit' that was recorded in the Register as to be in the store, but the kit was not in fact there. Recording in the book was sloppy and in one case it was recorded that there were 59 and 544 kg of dagga related to a specific case number, but this figure made absolutely no sense. In effect, thus the register has not recorded how much dagga was in fact received by the store and thus there is no way of ascertaining whether any of it has, had or will go missing. This problem is compounded by the fact that these drugs are remaining in the store for long periods of time.
