The shortage of staff, particularly at the client service section, was considered a challenge that contributed to the poor service rendered by the labour centre. To exacerbate the challenge, some officials were allocated to work at Pirace Satellite Office on Mondays and Tuesdays. This arrangement left the labour centre with a severe shortage of staff to assist clients. The management of the labour centre indicated that a study was underway to determine the exact number of staff required. Once the study has been completed it will be sent to the Minister of Labour for consideration.
