The Committee made the following observations: . The entire labour centre did not have a programme to guide its work, particularly the inspection unit. . An inspection was conducted on the availability of vehicles. . The Committee was concerned about how labour legislation was being enforced in the area if the labour centre did not have a proper plan. . The presentation of the Regional Manager of the labour centre completely contradicted the reality on the ground. The poor quality of the presentation implied that the labour centre was faced with serious challenges. . The Regional Manager did not respond convincingly to questions that were asked by the Committee, . The Committee was of the view that the labour centre had staff that was not capable of performing the work of the labour centre.
