The Acting Group CEO noted that the rail market share on the busiest corridor had risen from 12% in 2005 to 30% in 2010. He said that nowhere else in the world was all heavy haulage done by rail. Even the USA, which had the most effective freight rail system in the world, still had to make use of long-distance road haulage. The same applied to the pipeline, as in future 60% of the existing road traffic for petroleum products would be moved to this pipeline.
