I also want to take this opportunity to report that at the UN session on 24 February in New York, UN Women was declared the new agent for the UN that will look at women's programmes. This will include Unifem, the programme for the advancement of women; the United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA; and all those programmes that deal with women's issues, including gender equality, women's empowerment fund, and also the fund to end violence against women and children. All these have been put under this new agent called UN Women. I am also happy to report that the first executive director and undersecretary to head UN Women is Michelle Bachelet. She is a gender activist and freedom fighter who suffered and was imprisoned under the Pinochet regime. She was also the first woman President of Chile. She is now the first head of UN Women. We congratulate her, Chairperson. I thank you. [Applause.]
