The station had 11 holding cells which were all operational and in excellent condition. Each cell was designed to hold 20 detainees. The total number of detainees in the entire cells was 20, including three juveniles who had been there for more than 48 hours due to the unavailability of places of safety. The Committee was told that sometimes parents refused to accept their delinquents and preferred that they remain in custody. However, it was reported that probation officers were aware, because they had been contacted.
