In one of the vehicles, a licence disc that had expired in September 2009 was discovered. The vehicle was being utilised by different police officials continuously. A discrepancy was identified between the mileage recorded and kilometres travelled. That led the Committee to conclude that the logistics commander was not inspecting the vehicles. It was also discovered that some police officials went on patrol without wearing bulletproof vests. When asked about that, the response was that they did not feel like wearing them. The Committee found that the CSC had a shortage of 12 vehicles.
