The college had not had students since December 2009. It was reported to the Committee that the college was used during the first half of 2010 by specialised units such as the TRT (Tactical Response Team) for training as part of preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Other specialised response units, such as the Special Intervention Unit, stayed at the college, while on standby during the tournament. The college was designed to enrol 108 males and 72 females. All the articles in the college's store rooms could be accounted for, including all firearms. Although the premises seemed clean, wall paint in the dormitories was peeling off.
