In Ladismith 27 of 366 (7%) of the housing stock was transferred. However, the attorneys doing the transfers are in the process of finalising the deeds of sale and the houses will be handed over in the next 3 months.
In the Calitzdorp Blocked Project all 64 housing stock were previously transferred (consolidation project). In the Calitzdorp Phase 1, none of the 250 housing stock were transferred.

Once the transferring attorneys receive the Deeds of Sale, along with the supporting documentation such as clearance certificates and the title deeds of mother erven, the documentation can be submitted for registration to the Deeds Office, typically within 4 weeks.
