(1) What plans has the SA Police Service (SAPS) implemented in order to curb (a) crime and/or violent crime and (b) murder in urban and rural areas in Gauteng; (2) (a) what is the total number of vacant posts that currently exist in the SAPS in Gauteng and (b) what is the impact of the vacant posts on the policing function of the SAPS in Gauteng; (3) whether there are sufficient posts in the SAPS in Gauteng to fulfil the policing task; if not, (a) why not and (b)(i) by what date will the SAPS in Gauteng (aa) create and (bb) fill new posts and (ii) whether any qualified person may apply for the specified new posts; if so, what are the relevant details; (4) whether any posts are reserved for specific population groups; if so, (a) which posts and (b) what is the total number of posts that are reserved specifically for black, coloured, white and Indian persons; (5) what is the planned timeframe within which the posts will be filled?
