We act. The police arrests people. People are pursued. You read that in newspapers, but you don't talk about it here. I want to agree with Peter Smith's complaint about the growing debt, not only from government or the Ministry. We raise this matter so that it will ease the burden on municipalities if the Department of Public Works, who we'll be meeting soon, both nationally and provincially, acts expeditiously to determine, in co-operation with municipalities, what they owe and pay it that amount regularly, timeously.
We also say the same thing of people who deliberately delay payment especially those in business and in the private sector, who we know from the reports we read, generate a lot of resources from nonpayment. We expect them to sort out what they owe municipalities. It is crucial that they do so. One last appeal ... We will support the Budget Vote. Thank you very much. [Time expired.] [Applause.]
