Why do we need to continue to finance a manufacturer of weapons which cannot make a profit? Those questions need to be asked. And I stand with the hon Nhanha - it is a dramatic situation which calls for dramatic action. We need to look at public enterprises becoming the incubator of industries of the future. They should be places where funding becomes available for biotechnology, for nanotechnology, for an industrial plant which today takes us into the future for the next 100 years, and for an industrial plant developed during the apartheid era by the National Party regime under those circumstances.
