[I want to refer to the speech by the hon Bosman, who, amongst other things, talked about nationalisation.
I think we have to understand that nationalisation at this stage is not the policy of government. We have to act according to Article 5 of the Constitution.
The hon member also talked about rural safety. I fully agree with that. Everyone in the rural areas have to feel safe. Rural safety, but especially the deterioration of rural infrastructure, is a concern. Consequently, the prices of agricultural products increase, as the light delivery vans and trucks that transport these products continually break down due to very poor infrastructure. I want to appeal to the Minister that this matter needs urgent attention.
I want to assure the hon Carter that it was not a parliamentary committee that went to Zimbabwe; it was a voluntary organisation. The day the government prohibits any voluntary organisation to visit another country, will be a sorry day indeed. We cannot allow that to happen.
