(1) Whether, with reference to her reply to question 1374 on 27 July 2012, the issue of the voice recorder was reported to the SA Police Service (SAPS) for investigation; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details; (2) what steps have been taken by her department to ensure that the incidents of fraudulent international calls made on her department’s private automatic branch exchange (PABX) system which led to a loss of R1,272 million will not recur; (3) whether any steps have been taken against the drivers of departmental vehicles who were involved in accidents, where excess amounts could not be recouped from insurance; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details?
