REPLY:
(a)(i) The following shortfalls in required deployed staff resources:
(aa) Woodstock - 7% shortfall
(bb) Mowbray - None
(cc) Rondebosch - None
(b) The shortfalls are being addressed in the following manner:
In view of the above it is evident that provision was made to capacitate
the respective stations. Allocations received within the 2010/2011
financial year for both SAPS & PSA Act personnel will again be prioritized
to ensure the equitable redistribution of physical resources of
prioritized police stations.
(a) (ii) Necessary policing equipment :
Shortfall for vehicles:
(aa) Woodstock - None
(bb) Mowbray - None
(cc) Rondebosch - None
The above mentioned stations are over strength in terms of vehicles.
Despite the surplus illustrated above stations are still to receive
additional vehicles.
