Mr K A Sinclair (COPE-NC)) to ask the Minister of Economic Development:

clean energy be able to (i) enter the market and (ii) incrementally

REPLY
The second Integrated Resource Plan (IRP2) has not yet been finalised and
is in the process of being developed. Government is committed to a growing
and expanded role for renewable energy in view of the challenges of climate
change and the opportunities it presents for the new green jobs. Once the
IRP2 has been completed and approved, the Department of Energy will release
details publicly.
