(1) With reference to the reply to question 71 on 24 February 2017 regarding the abandoned and vandalised property situated at 18 Market Street, Stellenbosch, (a) what is the breakdown of the total costs to his department (details furnished) since the property was handed back to his department, (b) on what date was the property handed back to his department and (c) has the property rendered any income during the specified period;
(2) has the envisaged condition assessment and feasibility study already commenced; if so, (a) what is the progress in this regard and (b) what are the estimated costs to restore the property to its former condition;
(3) has his department received and considered the request by the Stellenbosch Local Municipality to transfer the property to the municipality as one of the options regarding the future of the property; if so, what is the response of his department to this request;
(4) has a decision regarding the long-term future of the property been taken; if not, when will such a decision be expected; if so, what are the details of the decision? NW1100E
