Deputy Speaker, I move without notice:
That the House -
1) notes that Noni "She Bee Stingin" Tenge became the first African woman to win an IBF world title about two weeks ago when she knocked out Danielle Smith from New Zealand at Carnival City;
(2) further notes that Tenge stopped the New Zealander one minute and 54 seconds into the fourth round, which was a great achievement in the ground-breaking female world championship;
(3) recognises that Noni Tenge remains undefeated after 12 fights and improved her knock-out ratio to 8 in 11 wins and 1 draw;
(4) acknowledges with appreciation that Noni Tenge dedicated her victory to the political stalwart, Mama Albertina Sisulu, who was laid to rest on the very day she won the IBF women's welterweight world title; and
(5) congratulates Noni "She Bee Stingin" Tenge for winning the welterweight title fight and applauds her for making South Africans proud.
Agreed to.
