The Week Ahead: Focus on Legislation & Strategic Plans in NCOP

Parliament is taking full advantage of the public holiday.

It is largely a low-key week with NA MPs on leave, no house sittings, and only a handful of meetings scheduled.

A major highlight is the Rules Committee meeting that will focus on the State Capture Commission recommendations as well as the Joint Rules meeting that will consider circumstances surrounding the physical removal of members from the Joint Sitting of 9 February 2023.
